The retro-museum “Ladies’ Happiness” (collector T.A. Makeeva) participates in the exhibition “Gifts of Love and Friendship” at the Pushkin Museum on Prechistenka Street, presenting the art of beadwork of the 19th century.
Among the exhibits from the museum’s collection, the exhibition presents beaded embroideries from the collection of T.A. Makeeva.
Besides their artistic value, they illustrate the life and leisure of that epoch – not only ladies, but also men were fond of beadwork.
The exhibition is open until 27 August.
