There is not much time left until the end of the “Shuya – a City of Contrasts” project, which is supported by the Presidential Grants Foundation. In November and December (up until the end of 2022) we continue giving free tours of the Soap Museum for school groups from the Ivanovo region.
Children first take a tour throughout the city using the “Shuya Audio Guide” application, picking the “Walking around the city centre” route, perform tasks of the quest from the printed guidebook, and then learn about the history of Shuya soapmaking at the museum. With the support of the Presidential Grants Foundation, the whole program is completely free for children.
Adult volunteers accompanying children (usually they are teachers) receive a few pieces of soap in the museum as a gift.
