New Participants To Be Included in Museum Fund Catalog “Private Museums of Russia. Talents of Russia”

Last weekend, the Association of Private Museums of Russia went on an interregional expedition. Within eight days, it is planned to visit about two dozen private museums in Kostroma, Nizhny Novgorod, Kazan, Samara, Ivanovo, Ulyanovsk and a number of other cities.

The first point on the route map was the city of Vladimir. The expedition members visited the ancient Russian city on the Klyazma River on Sunday and met with the founders and owners of four private museums.

Three of them, Eureka Science and Technology Museum, Vladimir Lights Museum and Dolls and Teddy Bears Museum have already been included in the Association’s catalog; Borodins Forge Museum will be added there in the near future.

The purpose of the expedition is to unite the owners of private museums, to open new horizons for cooperation for fruitful work and to share the fruits of their activities. The expedition is headed by Alexey Shaburov.
