We are pleased to welcome a new member of the Association of Private and People’s Museums of Russia – Museum of Art “Yalta – the Pearl of Crimea”. The founder of the museum is Matvienko Alexander Nickolayevich.
In 1980 I bought a poetry collection “Yalta – my love”. I read it. The collection became the first exhibit of the future museum. The collection began to grow steadily. Today it is more than 10 000 works of art of all genres, dedicated to the favorite and beautiful city of Yalta.
Museum expositions are held for significant dates and holidays because the permanent premises, more than 300 square metres, are very expensive. I am in search of sponsors and patrons of the museum. The next opening is being prepared for the Day of the City of Yalta – 1 August 2023.
At present it is more than 10 000 art exhibits. Artists, masters of applied arts, writers, poets, photographers, musicians… all with love for Yalta, about Yalta, for Yalta.
