The founder of the BestTypeWriter Museum, a member of the Association of Private Museums of Russia, Maxim Suravegin, together with colleagues from Germany, Italy and America, is developing a new portable typewriter for visually impaired people, a typewriter for typing with Braille script.
According to the Krasnogorsk collector, such devices were produced until the 90s of the last century. However, an international development team, which in addition to engineers includes an ophthalmologist, plans to launch a more modern and improved model.
“As soon as we create typewriters for the blind, we will sell them at cost price,” says Maxim Suravegin to Sabina Moiseeva, reporter of the Moscow Region Today online portal.
Now the developers are at the design stage. They expect to launch mass production of their product in a year. Collectors are only going to spend their own finances when creating a production badge.
