The Museum and Workshop of Ceramics and Applied Art «Kirach» was visited by the Head of the Republic of Bashkortostan R.F. Khabirov
“It is amateur craftsmen like Zaki Nagaev from the village of Tolbazy who make Bashkortostan famous. These clay souvenirs with folklore motifs – bowls, jugs, human and animal figurines – have long become a tourist brand of Aurgazin district. All goods are made of local raw materials.
I believe that souvenirs made in this pottery workshop should be definitely present in our tourst centres. I think, it will be interesting for tourists. And we’ll try to include similar workshops and museums like Zaki Nagayev’s into the “Bashkir Longevity” routes.
We need to show the inhabitants of the Republic such original, special places”.
