The Ministry of Culture has calculated: the most visited Russia’s museum is Peterhof. Last year around five million people came here! Through the halls of the largest museum in the country – the Hermitage – three million sightseers have passed. Museum collections are housed in five buildings: to get a look at all of them, you have to travel 24 kilometres!
And it takes only 15 minutes to walk around the museum in Nizhny Tagil. Its area is only 10 square meters – it is officially the smallest museum of the country! It is located in a watchtower on Fox Mountain.
