The exhibition consists of 18 samples of dress clothes (outfits) and is part of Elena Bunakova’s large collection, which she has been collecting for 27 years, traveling through the regions of the country. Some outfits were collected piece by piece and are unique, they are more than 100 years old.
The House of the Peoples of Russia will hold such an exhibition for the first time; it presents the history of the national costume of the peoples of Russia. Also, in addition to the exposition, the exhibition will feature handmade dolls in national outfits.
Anyone can visit the exhibition, it will be held at the House of Peoples of Russia until July 1, 2024.
