THE HERITAGE OF AUTHENTIC RUSSIA IN PRIVATE MUSEUMS
MOSCOW, November the 16th – the Association of Private Museums of Russia. The 8th iteration of the Association’s interregional expedition will tour through Voronezh and the cities of the Southern Federal District, including Kamensk-Shakhtinsky, Rostov-on-Don, Krasnodar, Temryuk, Gelendzhik, Yalta, Sevastopol, and Simferopol.
The expedition aims to study the authentic Russian cultural heritage, specifically the traditions and crafts of its multinational population, through private museum collections, as well as to spotlight the private museums of Russia, improve their image as tourist destinations, and raise awareness of old Russian locations as tourist itineraries across private museums.
The members of the Association also plan to join the opening ceremonies of new exhibitions in private museums, and visit the recently added member museums.
