The Museum of Florentine Mosaics in St. Petersburg is a phenomenon of cultural life of St. Petersburg and Russia as a whole, as there are no analogues to it today.
The task of the museum is to show the works of the best masters of Russia of the end of XX – beginning of XXI century.
There are 496 works in the collection: panels, vases, bowls, caskets, jewellery, clocks in the Florentine (plate) mosaic technique.
