The collection has been created over the years. It was described and systematized in 2013. Costumes, utensils, books, and dolls were brought in different years from different places of the former USSR, then from Russia and other foreign travels. The collection includes old costumes, authentic costumes of the former republics, vintage women’s clothing in the Russian style, and women’s national costumes from around the world.
