There is the largest collection of Soviet children’s pedal cars: pedal cars, electric cars, tractors, horses, as well as Soviet toys that every child in the USSR dreamed of. A mini-roundabout has been created in the museum, where any young visitor aged 4-7 can take a ride on the most popular models of children’s motor vehicles.
The museum offers a variety of interesting facts about not only the history of pedal cars, but also the Soviet automotive industry and Soviet childhood in general.
The museum actively organises exhibitions, showing to the general public not only items from its holdings but also items from private collectors.
In addition, the museum is actively developing cultural and leisure activities: guided tours, workshops, lectures, museum festivals, meetings with interesting people, film screenings and much more.
“It was important for me not just to show my collection, but to create a full-fledged museum that would not only serve as a repository of social memory, but also perform research and educational functions, grow patriotism in children. These cars are part of the Soviet era. They remember us as children and can tell the younger generation a lot about our childhood and the history of the pre-war, war and post-war period of the USSR,” says Oleg Bagrov.
