The Fairytale House “Once Upon a Time” was founded in 1995 in Moscow by Nikolai Petrovich Mashovets. The idea was to create a network of interactive museums. Since 2000, there has been a branch museum called “Buratino – Pinocchio”.
The museum’s activities include:
Interactive theatrical programmes with professional actors using authentic items of peasant life.
The programmes are based on Russian and foreign fairy tales. Main visitors are organised groups of pre-school and school age. Programmes for children with disabilities are organised.
Puppet shows.
On-line classes for Education Department.
Outdoor events.
Holidays held on the basis of museums.
Workshops.
