Founder, owner, and director of the museum
Safronov Yuri Vladimirovich
Founded
2007
The museum is similar to museums of a similar profile abroad (for example, Stratford in England, Shmetterling House in Vienna).
The activities of the museum include familiarisation of visitors with the diversity and life of butterflies and other insects.
The collection of exhibits was gathered by entomologist Vladimir Safronov for about 50 years, and in later years it has been supplemented by his son Yuri Safronov.
The exposition is represented by hundreds of specimens from many countries of the world of different continents (Africa, Asia, America, Eurasia).
