The museum exposition leads tells its story from the first Olympic champion Nikolai Panin-Kolomenkin, who won the first gold in 1908. The exposition includes a collection of antique skates from Peter I to the present day, and a collection of costumes of Olympic champions A. Gorshkov, M. Marinin, T. Volosozhar, M. Trankov, A. Sotnikova, etc. Other items include: a collection of table medals and badges of world and European champions, antique postcards, prints and newspapers from the 19th – 20th centuries, photos, and personal belongings of athletes. The museum collaborates with the Russian Olympic Committee and the Moscow Figure Skating Federation.
