The museum “Once upon a time in Zadonye” was created based on the object of cultural heritage of regional significance “Manor house with an arch” of the XIX century.
The concept of the museum exposition “About people and for people” reveals the life of estates of Zadonsky district of the late XIX century through everyday traditions, crafts, holidays and the history of the Malikov family, merchants of the 2nd guild, owners of the manor house – a city merchant building.
Interactive excursions filled with reliable historical facts, authentic exhibits, based on which master classes are held, where visitors take direct part, create the atmosphere of a living museum and make the visit bright and unforgettable.
